Who we are
Nomado Property Management is a service of NOMADO合同会社 (Nomado GK), registered in Kutchan, Hokkaido. The same company runs Property Media Japan, which photographs homes, chalets and hotels for real estate agents, and Niseko Memories, which photographs families and skiers on holiday in Niseko.
That means we already spend our days inside Niseko properties, working with owners, agents and guests. We know which photos get bookings, what guests ask before they arrive, and what a chalet looks like after a week of February snow.
Why we started
Owners kept asking us the same thing: who should manage my property, and what will it really cost? Most managers would not say until a meeting. So we wrote our fees on our website, put our terms in writing, and made it possible to leave on 60 days notice, with no exit fee after the first year.
Who is responsible
James Hirata (平田滋睦) is the representative partner of NOMADO合同会社. He runs destination wedding and photography businesses in Japan and New Zealand, has advised overseas buyers purchasing homes in Hokkaido alongside licensed real estate agents, and owns a house in Otaru that is being renovated as a holiday rental.
What we promise
We are a new service. We are taking on our first 10 properties for the 2027 seasons, and we would rather say that plainly than invent a track record.
